Speakerbox: A Theatrical Hip Hop Concert Series is a three-part concert series presented by the Baltimore Rock Opera Society and performed by Baltimore-based lyricists Black Root, Femi the DriFish, Rashad Hawkins, and Lonnie Moore.
This series will highlight three classic hip hop albums that transcend the genre and have become musical masterpieces. Audiences will come together to connect through stories of empowerment, creative expression and success while moving to the beat!

Performances will take place at The Voxel, located at 9 West 25th Street in Baltimore. These shows will be live streamed, with a limited in-person audience attending.

Speakerbox: A Theatrical Hip Hop Concert Series will bring to you:

This concert series is being presented to the world at a time when conversations about race relations are happening with greater intensity and frequency, especially in the world of the creative arts.
BROS has made a commitment to transform itself into an organization that is more enthusiastically, intentionally, and obviously inclusive, diverse, and anti-racist. These shows are part of our movement to be better as an organization, and we want you to be an active part of this movement.

Your donation will help BROS further this concert series and additional programming.

Live-streamed shows have production costs associated with them to bring a high quality musical experience to your home. We are dedicated to paying these artists for the talents they are sharing with us, and we want to continue to make strides in our community by broadening the scope of our creativity.
