The Baltimore Rock Opera Society's Marketing and Communications Director leads the organization's external communications, audience development, and public-facing promotion. The Marketing and Communications Director communicates the BROS mission, vision, programs, and culture to existing and new audiences while growing awareness, attendance, participation, and community engagement. The Marketing and Communications Director serves as the steward of the BROS brand, voice, and public identity. This role develops and executes marketing strategies that promote productions, events, community programs, and organizational initiatives while ensuring consistency across all public-facing communications. The Marketing and Communications Director identifies and develops new audiences for BROS programming through strategic communications, digital marketing, media relations, partnerships, and community engagement. They work to build meaningful relationships throughout Baltimore, including communities historically underrepresented in BROS audiences, and seek opportunities to reduce barriers to participation and increase awareness of BROS programming. The Marketing and Communications Director serves as a strategic communications partner to other departments, helping translate organizational goals into effective audience-facing campaigns and messaging.
Approximate hours/week: 12-15 Pay: $10,000 annually, paid monthly ($833/month)
