The Technical Director plans for all the technical departments to fit in the venue. This includes understanding the power and space resources of the venue, collecting lighting and sound plots from designers, and facilitating tech conversations to ensure a harmonious production environment. This also includes attending weekly production meetings at least once a month (in person or video call.)
