The House Manager is in charge of the logistical side of the audience experience. This includes managing bar/snack/merch teams, making necessary signage, and keeping front of house traffic flowing smoothly. This also includes attending weekly production meetings at least once a month (in person or video call.)
Responsible for opening and closing the venue before and after every show date. This involves staying and making sure all guests are out of the building before locking up.
Works with the BROS Volunteer Director or show-based Volunteer Coordinator to recruit volunteers for ticketing check-in, concessions, bar and ushering.
Works with the show’s Front of House Designer to communicate the functional needs of Front of House the expected flow of guests and signage needs.
Assigns duties to Front of House volunteers, gives training and feedback where necessary.
Maintain cleanliness of public-facing venue spaces.
Answer the box office email address, responding to guest questions and concerns.
