The Composer and Music Director is responsible for writing the music of the show and eventually leading the band. They will work with the Writers to create music and edit lyrics to go with the evolving drafts of the script, delivering demos and any other material for the band, cast, and production team to use to produce the final rock opera. Duties will start late July of 2026 and continue until the show closes in June of 2027. First demos will be expected in September 2026, and final demos will be due in December 2026, in time for band auditions. Band practices will begin in January 2027, with show dates May/June 2027. Very open to this being a two (or more) person position! You can apply as a group, or we may ask about pairing you with someone.

Robin Walser was a TV Star, an ecoterrorist, and is now slinging bagels and crushing on a coworker. That is, before they are chosen as a prophet by a psychedelic Assyrian river god, and it attempts to help them get a date and let their hair down. With the help of their friends, their enemies, and the wildlife of the Chesapeake Bay, they might just make it work.
