The BROS Development Associate is responsible for managing and cultivating relationships with BROS individuals, businesses and in-kind donors, with the primary goal of increasing contributed income revenue from individual giving and sponsorship. This position will focus on implementing and furthering the BROS membership and sponsorship programs and is overseen by the Development Director.

Primary Duties - 65%:  Membership and Individual Giving

  • Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with major donors, members and community stakeholders
  • Works with the Development Director to develop goals and objectives for growing annual revenue for individual donations and memberships
  • Hits quarterly contributed income targets
  • Creates and execute a strategy for a large sustained base of annual members and individual donors using primarily digital engagement 
  • Creates and distributes membership letters, acknowledgement letters, membership benefits and donation perks
  • Writes handwritten thank you letters 
  • Develops copy and sends bi-weekly/ monthly members newsletter
  • Maintains Patron Manager (salesforce) donor database on a regular basis
  • Create quarterly performance reports, illustrating giving trends and suggestions for deepening involvement
  • Assists coordinating BROS annual Members Party


Secondary Duties - 35%: Sponsorship

  • Solicits Individual and corporate sponsors for annual programs and special events
  • Hits quarterly contributed revenue targets
  • Creates sponsorship benefit packages
  • Identifies and cultivates sponsor prospects
  • Creates sponsorship solicitations, acknowledgement letters, thank you notes, and tracks donor perks
  • Oversees and tracks sponsorship benefits and fulfillment
  • Coordinates acknowledgement materials (logos, graphics) for marketing team
  • Maintains Patron Manager (salesforce) donor database on a regular basis
  • Works with the BROS Marketing Director to implement sponsorship communications on BROS website and social media
  • Lead coordinator of in-kind sponsorships and donations
  • Assists coordinating the Swanktacular silent auction
  • Other duties as assigned
